September presents a new challenge ladies of BWOTR!!!! Can you survive without beef, chicken, pork, lamb, or turkey? This month's challenge will be "Meatless Lunch and Dinner". Can you do it? Let's ditch ALL meats for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is yours for the taking. Fish is allowed for meals. The advantages of not eating meat is: lower body weight, disease prevention, more vitamins and minerals when vegetables and fruits are added to the diet, economic benefits, and ecological advantages by using a ton and a half less of carbon dioxide per year than typical meat diets. A meatless diet is healthiest when it is balanced and includes daily servings of all major food groups including fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, grains, and dairy products. (MayoClinic.com).
